Glen Location
Glen is the site of a historic mining community, locally known as a "location," which at its peak included approximately 50 homes. The location was active between 1903 and 1935. A glimpse of life into this early mining community has been recreated with historic buildings and heritage interpreters.The Glen features an original 1903 location house, the 1915 Wilpen train depot and bunk house, and Hill's 1905 Finnish boarding house.
