Two floors of museum exhibits tell the story of Minnesota's Iron Range, from geology and exploration to mining and immigration. Artifact, interactive, and audio/visual displays highlight the scientific, social and cultural history of the region.The museum's Taconite Square and Overlook Gallery
host traveling exhibitions year-round, while our theater presents the story of taconite daily; it's also the site of Ironworld's free movie series, available in fall and winter. Our Musuem Store offers unique items, while Ironworld's full service restaurant, The 43, is open Tuesday through Sunday. Free ethnic soup and bread samples are served daily.
